What cookies we use

We use exactly one cookie: a session authentication cookie named __Host-session. This cookie is:

• +HttpOnly — not accessible to JavaScript
• +Secure — only sent over HTTPS
• +SameSite=Lax — protected against cross-site request forgery
• +__Host- prefixed — cannot be overridden by subdomains
• +Expires in 12 hours — short-lived session

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies. We do not use cookie consent banners because we do not use cookies that require consent under applicable regulations.

Disabling cookies

If you disable cookies in your browser, you will not be able to log in to your Veezow account — the session cookie is required for authentication. The public site, Weekly Index, and shared reports remain accessible without cookies.
